Everton: £40m star 'not open' to move to Goodison Park

Everton boss Frank Lampard is ‘keen’ to add another midfielder to his squad, but Manchester United star Donny van de Beek would not be interested in sealing a return to Goodison Park, according to journalist Simon Phillips.

Although the Toffees spent more than £70million during the summer transfer window, Lampard will be given another opportunity to strengthen his options in January.

According to 90min, van de Beek has been granted permission to leave Manchester United during the winter window.

Phillips told GIVEMESPORT: “Lampard would certainly be keen to add another midfielder, but I’m not sure van de Beek would be open to going there due to how solid Everton are in that position right now.

“Van de Beek will just want to play regular football.”
