Eve Hewson's famous father, partner and real name explored as she leads The Perfect Couple

The Perfect Couple has just arrived on Netflix and the mystery drama is based on Elin Hilderbrand's novel. The story follows Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson) who is about to marry into the wealthy Nantucket Winbury family.

When a body is found on the beach and secrets are revealed, the wedding descends into chaos. Eve is a 33-year-old Irish actress whose first major role was in This Must Be the Place.

More recently the star is recognised for her roles in Netflix's Behind Her Eyes and the Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters. Outside of work, she leads a very interesting life.

Born in Dublin, the star's real name is Memphis Eve Sunny Day Iris Hewson. Her name is derived from her time and date of birth 7am on July 7 as "eve" is the middle of the word "seven".

The star is the daughter of Bono, the lead singer of the band U2, and she opened up about her relationship with her famous dad.

Speaking to the Irish Independent, she said she and her siblings did not shy away from telling their dad their honest thoughts.

She said: "We like to tell him what to wear and what to listen to and things like 'that shot's not good' and 'this verse isn't good'. We are very involved.

"He used to drive us to school and we would play whatever songs they were working on at the time. Like I say, we would be very involved and then upset if the version we liked didn't make it on the album.

"There would be a fight and we'd be like: 'Why, Dad, why? You have to listen to us!'"

She said her upbringing was very down to earth and the Hewson children "didn't grow up caring about the flashy things".
