Eurovision 2024 Serbia entry: Ramonda lyrics in English, who is Teya Dora, and odds to win

Representing Serbia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest is singer Teya Dora. The 32-year-old will be performing her song Ramonda at the final of the 2024 competition which is taking place at Malmo Arena in Sweden on Saturday night.

Teya is already popular on social media and her 2023 single Dzanum went viral across the globe on TikTok. The song has 75 million clicks on YouTube and 100 million streams on Spotify.

She is the most listened-to artist in the Balkans on Spotify, with 3 million monthly listens. Originally from the city of Bor in Serbia, Teya received a scholarship to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. For her audition, she sang Alicia Keys' No One.

While studying at Boston she shared classes with American singer-songwriter Charlie Pugh. She graduated from college in 2014 and moved to New York where she worked as a songwriter. Artists she has written for include Serbian rapper Nikolija.

Her Eurovision hero is Marija Šerifović, who won the Eurovision Song Contest for Serbia in 2007. Teya qualified to represent Serbia after winning Pesma za Evroviziju '24 which decides the nation's entry.

Serbia's odds of winning the contest were 500/1 ahead of the show, according to bookies Ladbrokes.

The Eurovision Song Contest grand final takes place on Saturday from 8pm and will be broadcast live on BBC One.
