Euro 2024 qualifying draw LIVE as Scotland set to learn road to Germany
Scotland ended that agonising wait of more than two decades to reach the European Championships last summer.
And now Steve Clarke and his troops will be looking to make it two in a row at the tournament.
The good news is that, on paper at least, their job has become a whole lot easier thanks to the progress under Clarke.
In winning their Nations League group, Scotland are in Pot 2 for the qualifying draw which takes place in Frankfurt this morning.
That means avoiding big guns like France and England when they go into the hat.
Nobody wants to miss out on the competition which is being held in Germany - a nation that nows how to lay on a major tournament.
But it can still meet a tournament qualifying group even if it already-qualified hosts Germany aren't the hat.
