Erling Haaland injury update issued ahead of Man City vs Arsenal title showdown

Ahead of the huge match between Manchester City and Arsenal, an injury update has been issued on Erling Haaland.

The City striker was seen limping out of a training session with Norway, but worry about his condition seems to be minimal. The Blues face Arsenal on Sunday, March 31 at the Etihad Stadium.

If Arsenal win, they'll be four points ahead of City in the Premier League. Right now, the Gunners are topping the table thanks to goal difference with Liverpool at 64 points, and Pep Guardiola's side one point behind them in third place.

This season's top scorer, Haaland, caused some concern as he appeared to pick up an injury during a training session with his national team. But it seems there's no need to worry according to Norway's team doctor.

"Haaland limped out of Norway training earlier but the team doctor, speaking to (Norwegian broadcaster) TV2, says 'no problem,'" Sam Lee from The Athletic reported on X. Haaland had to sit out of five league games due to injury between October and January earlier this season.

Yet, he has still managed to score an impressive total of 29 goals in all matches this season. Arsenal know first-hand how much of a threat City's leading scorer can be as he netted against them in both fixtures last season.

In their most recent encounter where they bagged a 1-0 win at the Emirates Stadium, they successfully kept Haaland from scoring. When talking about his performance back in February, the footballer warned other teams that he's getting better.

He also talked about playing with Kevin de Bruyne, who might not be able to feature in the Arsenal match because of his own injury
