Erling Haaland has already shown he brings much more to Man City than just goals
After just three Premier League outings, Erling Haaland is already doing exactly what Manchester City bought him for.
The 22-year-old striker - who cost City £51m earlier this summer - arrived in Manchester with a mouth-watering goals record, having scored 86 in 89 matches in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund.
In three league games for Pep Guardiola's side he has found the net on three occasions, suggesting he will be just as clinical in-front of goal in sky blue as he was in yellow. However, as was the case against Bournemouth the weekend before, in City's 3-3 draw with Newcastle on Sunday Haaland showed that he brings much more to City's attack than just goals.

City took the lead after just five minutes, Ilkay Gundogan converting Bernardo's Silva's cross from the right after he found himself in acres of space inside the penalty area.
Gundogan did what Guardiola is always praising him for; timing his run into the box to perfection and ghosting into space that doesn't seem to be there. However, he might not have found that space if it wasn't for the presence of Haaland.
Earlier in the move the striker made a darting run in-behind the defence, but Bernardo elected to keep hold of the ball. Haaland was now in an offside position, but his run had already distracted the centre-back and created the space between the right centre-back and right-back that Gundogan would drift into.
When the cross came in Fabian Schar was preoccupied with Haaland and right-back Kieran Trippier with the presence of Phil Foden at the back post. Gundogan popped up in-between the two of them and scored.
