Erling Haaland frustration and four other moments missed from Man City win over Bournemouth

Manchester City made it two wins from their opening two Premier League games of the season with a comfortable 4-0 win against Bournemouth on Saturday.

City were utterly dominant at a hot and sweaty Etihad Stadium, picking apart their newly-promoted opponents from pretty much minute one. Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring with his 50th goal for City, slotting home from inside the penalty area after playing a neat give and go with Erling Haaland.

Kevin De Bruyne doubled the advantage soon after with a brilliant solo effort, running into the space created by Haaland's movement before poking the ball into the bottom corner with the outside of his boot. Phil Foden scored a third before half-time, and a Jefferson Lerma own goal wrapped things up late on.

The opening five?

Plenty of City fans might not have actually seen much of the opening five minutes of the game, thanks to the plume of blue smoke swirling around the Etihad Stadium. City walked out for their first home game of the season to a spectacular firework show, but the blue smoke that accompanied it took a while to disperse.

Only Walker 'inverted'

Pep Guardiola had both of his full-backs tuck into central midfield in the 2-0 win at West Ham last weekend, but in the first half against Bournemouth, only Kyle Walker was required to do so.
