Erik ten Hag's agent and man responsible for two Manchester United deals slammed by former client

Inter Milan star Stefan de Vrij has spoken out for the first time since winning a legal battle against Erik ten Hag's agent and the founder of an agency responsible for two Manchester United transfers.

Kees Vos is a co-founder of SEG and he's become increasingly influential at Old Trafford since the appointment of Ten Hag from Ajax, playing a role in two transfers last summer.

The £72million transfer of Rasmus Hojlund and £8.6m loan fee for Sofyan Amrabat coincided with the players switching their representation to Vos' agency, SEG International.

However, although SEG stated they had brought Amrabat to United, intermediaries from another agency are understood to have worked on an agreement with the Moroccan's parent club Fiorentina and SEG merely negotiated Amrabat's personal terms in the deal.

There has been no implication of any wrongdoing in the transfers, but there has been a suggestion of a conflict of interest, with Vos representing Ten Hag and helping United in the market.

When asked about Vos' involvement in September, Ten Hag denied a conflict of interest and said: "It can't be, because we make very good agreements about it from the start; how we cooperate in that manner. For player decisions, transfers, it's always 50-50. We both have a veto: the club, represented by John Murtough, and me. So there can never be a distraction."

Vos has been embroiled in a legal battle in the Netherlands, as Algemeen Dagblad revealed on Thursday in an interview with Inter Milan defender De Vrij.
