Has Erik ten Hag finally found his strongest front-three? Based on Saturday's evidence, it would be hard to argue otherwise.
From right to left, the Dutchman deployed a trio of Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho for Manchester United's 2-1 win over Brentford and they each played a significant role in ensuring the points stayed at Old Trafford.
Rashford sent over a peach of a cross for Garnacho to score a fabulous equaliser, before Hojlund dinked a fine finish over onrushing Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken for the winner. The fact each member of the front-three was directly involved in either of the two goals will have no doubt made Ten Hag feel good inside. United have not been good enough in the goalscoring department so far this season and he will be hoping the win over Brentford proves to be a turning point.

Naming the same trio that started against Aston Villa prior to the international break, it appeared as though United would line up in an identical manner. However, Ten Hag mixed it up with Garnacho on the left and Rashford on the right.
Up until last December, Garnacho was always considered a left-winger, meaning he was a direct competitor for Rashford. However, Ten Hag experimented with the Argentine on the opposite flank and it was a decision that was fully justified in the second half of last term.
