Erik ten Hag has two games to decide on two Manchester United selection dilemmas

After visiting Oslo, Edinburgh, New Jersey, San Diego, Houston and Las Vegas in recent weeks, Manchester United will no doubt be pleased to return to more familiar surroundings this weekend.

Fresh from returning to the UK at the start of the week, following their recent tour of the United States, United now have just two pre-season friendlies left before their Premier League opener against Wolves in ten days time. RC Lens visit Old Trafford tomorrow lunchtime before United jet off again, albeit not too far on this occasion, to Dublin to face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday afternoon.

Though the club is yet to confirm how they plan to handle two games in just over 24 hours, it is highly likely that the squad will be split into two groups, offering as many players as possible one last opportunity to try and impress before the season opener.

United played two friendlies over the final weekend of pre-season last year, facing Atletico Madrid in Oslo and fellow Spanish side Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford the following day. Manager Erik ten Hag split his squad in half and those who started against Atletico didn't feature against Vallecano.
