Erik ten Hag has five January transfer window options to solve Manchester United dilemma
Manchester United could still yet add to Erik ten Hag's squad in the January transfer window. The winter window has just over a week remaining and United are yet to sign a single player.
Outgoings have been prioritised this month in an attempt to trim the wage bill in compliance with domestic and European financial fair play rules. The Manchester Evening News understands that the club are "tight" on FFP after over £400million was invested on new signings in the last two summer transfer windows.
Sources say that any possible incoming would have to be "exceptionally economic". It's possible that United may have to turn to the loan market - as they did last year - to improve Ten Hag's squad for the second half of the season.

One position that is in desperate need of a new face is attack. Should Anthony Martial's return from his latest injury setback go to plan, the Parisian will have missed 16 weeks in total this season and he is not set to be available until early April.
Martial's absence leaves only Rasmus Hojlund as United's option at centre-forward. Pressure on the £72million summer signing is already weighing heavy after his mixed start to life in England meaning a possible temporary fix may be required.

Kolo Muani was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer prior to his switch to Paris Saint-Germain. His goalscoring record at Eintracht Frankfurt had
