Erik ten Hag gives huge change to four Manchester United youngsters in first-team training

Four Manchester United youngsters have been given the chance to impress Erik ten Hag in first-team training as the Red Devils prepare for the visit of Fulham.

The Cottagers come to Old Trafford for the Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon. United will see the game as a chance to extend their recent winning run to five games following last week’s win over Luton Town.

Ahead of the game, work has been put in on the Carrington training pitch. Images of a session in the build-up to the match show Toby Collyer, Omari Forson, Habeeb Ogunneye, and Harry Amass all involved.

Twenty-year-old Collyer plays as a defensive midfielder and has been a regular for the U21 side in Premier League 2 so far this season. While 19-year-old winger Forson made his Premier League debut at the start of the month, playing the final minutes of the 4-3 win over Wolves, and getting an assist for Kobbie Mainoo’s late winner.

Eighteen-year-old right-back Ogunneye has featured for both the U21s and U18s this season. The most inexperienced of the five is 16-year-old left-back Amass, despite his young age he had been a regular for the U18s and was included on the bench for the Premier League 2 clash against Manchester City earlier this month.

Ten Hag has shown that he is not afraid to include youngsters in his squad, or even in his starting line-up at Old Trafford.
