English soccer star Harry Kane calls round of golf with Trump a ‘surreal experience’
President Donald Trump recounts his direct involvement in urging FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review a controversial red card issued to a U.S. player. Trump criticizes the referee's 'horrible' call, deeming it unfair to remove a top player for a collision. He celebrates FIFA's 'brilliant decision' to reverse the ban, ensuring the best players compete in the highly successful World Cup.
If England wins the World Cup and is awarded the Jules Rimet Trophy from President Donald Trump, it won’t be the first time Harry Kane will have met the Commander in Chief.
Kane, 32, revealed Friday that he played golf with Trump about a year and a half ago in Florida.
"He invited me to play when I was down in Palm Beach. When the President invites you somewhere, it was a pretty surreal experience just to meet him and to play golf with him," Kane said Friday, according to the New York Post.

The English superstar praised Trump’s golf game.
"His golf is pretty good, to be honest with you. I hope I can play as well as him when I’m his age, that’s for sure," Kane said. "Unique experience. Grateful he invited me down to play with him."
Kane scored a goal in England’s 3-2 win over Mexico on Sunday, and Trump praised him in a post on Truth Social.
