English club make enquiry about Nwabali
English Championship club Queens Park Rangers (QPR) have made enquiries about Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
According to Italian journalist and transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Arabia side Al Ettifaq, have also been linked with the AFCON 2023 silver medal winner.
“Nigeria GK Stanley Nwabali, on the list of different clubs as Al Ettifaq in Saudi and Queens Park Rangers in UK have enquired about him,” Romano wrote on X.
“His South African club Chippa United will consider his future move in the next months.”
Nwabali has been on the radar of lots of clubs both in and outside Africa.
He kept four consecutive clean sheets as the Eagles went all the way to the final of the AFCON 2023.
Also, he bagged the Man of the Match award after making two saves in the penalty shootout win against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
Meanwhile, he has since returned to his South Africa club Chippa United after his AFCON exploits.
