England Lionesses vs Belgium LIVE team news and updates for Nations League encounter

Sarina Weigman's England Lionesses take on familiar rivals Belgium tonight in their third UEFA Women’s Nations League campaign, the game kicks off at 7.45pm.

As it stands the Red Flames are top of Group A standings with four points, having beat Scotland and drawn against the Netherlands. The European Champions and World Cup runners-up are currently in third place, behind the Dutch. Wiegman’s side took a 2-1 win over Scotland in September followed by a 2-1 loss in the Stadion Galgenwaard against the Netherlands three days later.

This October international break will see England take on Belgium in back-to-back games. On Friday night the King Power Stadium hosts the international tie. Then Tuesday, October 31, will see King Power at Den Dreef Stadion, in Belgium, host the reverse fixture.

The Lionesses must dominate their group to advance to the Nation's League finals and must then get through the semi-finals to book Team GB’s qualification spot for next summer’s Olympic Games in Paris.

Fran Kirby has made her return to the international set-up for the first time since last October having undertaken knee surgery. Kiera Walsh also makes a return after missing last month's fixtures. However, Lauren James will be absent throughout this international break due to a concussion.

Grace Clinton and Khiara Keating make their inaugural step up to the senior squad, both having a profound season so far for their respective clubs. Keating has solidified herself as the first choice 'keeper at Manchester City this season so far and Clinton is a United player out on loan to Tottenham this campaign.
