England football fans make Glastonbury 2024 decision as 'vibes much better'

England football fans and Glastonbury Festival viewers collided as the action on the pitch in Germany and the action from Worthy Farm clashed on Sunday afternoon (June 30).

Gareth Southgate handed 19-year-old Kobbie Mainoo his full competitive England debut for the Euro 2024 last-16 clash with Slovakia. Despite topping Group C, England put in three average performances but Southgate once again resisted the temptation to make mass changes, with Mainoo’s introduction the only alteration.

The opening minutes of the match were plagued by bookings and just when England started to show some signs of life, they found themselves behind at the midway point of the first half. A long ball forward was not dealt with by the England defence and David Strelec slipped in Ivan Schranz to score his third goal of the finals.

The Canadian musician wore a tartan skirt, fishnet tights and a black and red jacket while she performed in front of a jam-packed crowd at Worthy Farm.
