England Euro 2024 victory parade plans confirmed before Spain final with King Charles visit
The England team could be in line for a parade and Buckingham Palace visit should they clinch the UEFA Euro 2024 final against Spain on Sunday.
England were propelled into their second consecutive Euros final thanks to Ollie Watkins' dramatic late goal on Wednesday. Their victory has set the scene for a challenging match against three-time Euro champions, Spain, who last pocketed the Henri Delaunay trophy in 2012 and also four years prior.
While Spain have arguably been the standout performers this tournament, England will take heart from their resilient showing midweek, along with a last-gasp leveller and a successful penalty shootout in previous matches. An England triumph over Spain would land them their maiden Euros title and first major tourney win since humbling West Germany at the 1966 World Cup - a game in which Geoff Hurst fired an unforgettable hat-trick under the guidance of Sir Alf Ramsey at Wembley, reports Football London.

On Wednesday, King Charles III offered his congratulations to the England squad, stating: "My wife and I join all our family in wishing you the warmest congratulations on reaching the final of the U.E.F.A. European Championship - and in sending our very best wishes for Sunday's match
"If I may encourage you to secure victory before the need for any last-minute wonder goals or another penalties drama, I am sure the stresses on the nation's collective heart rate and blood pressure would be greatly alleviated! Good luck, England."
The parade, if England win, is set to kick off at Guildhall in
