Emmerdale's pre-Christmas week spoilers as Mackenzie's left unresponsive and bound and two babies arrive in the village

There's danger for Mackenzie Boyd and the arrival of not one but two babies as the Emmerdale villagers prepare for Christmas. In upcoming scenes, viewers of the ITV soap will see Charles Anderson getting Chas Dingle to open up about her loneliness and the effect her son Aaron's behaviour is having on her.

Soon, after Aaron has an altercation with Chas, a seething Charles orders Aaron to show his mother respect. But when Aaron goads him, a scuffle ensues. A sheepish Charles returns later to apologise to Chas for his outburst and Chas is happy she’s found a friend.

But in the meantime, Aaron entices Ethan into Mill, seizing a chance to get in with Charles’ son. However, Aaron soon crosses the line when he humiliates smitten Ethan in front of his dad. Chas confronts Aaron about his behaviour and her response leaves Aaron blindsided.

Also, after an argument, Charity Dingle is wound up when Mack storms out and insists he won’t be back for a while. Soon, however, an unresponsive Mack sits bound to a chair in an abandoned factory.

Meanwhile, Will Taylor is shocked when his wife Kim Tate confirms that she played a part in Craig Reed's death. Kim tells her side of the story but Will’s left feeling utterly betrayed. Will’s left with a decision to make when Kim urges him to keep her reveal a secret.

The next day, Will is stunned when he finds a drunken Kim slumped against his daughter Dawn’s birthing pool. When she rushes off to puke, Will worries about the state Kim has gotten herself into. But at the same time, over at the Christmas
