Emmerdale's Nicky Milligan star now after soap exit as new on-screen family member revealed

Emmerdale viewers were left saddened to see Nicky Milligan leave the village earlier this year with boyfriend Suni Sharma.

Nicky, played by Lewis Cope, was first introduced to Emmerdale in December 2022, while Suni, played by Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, made his debut in July 2023. The two actors quit the ITV soap earlier this year, and their final scenes aired over the summer as they left the village for new pastures.

In recent scenes, Nicky's parents, Caleb Milligan and his wife Ruby Fox-Milligan, have been centre stage, as they mentioned out of nowhere that they have another child, Stephanie.

Caleb, played by Will Ash, revealed that he and his wife Ruby, portrayed by Beth Cordingly, have a daughter named Stephanie during a hospital confrontation with Ruby's mother, Helen Fox (Sharon Maughan), before the latter character's sudden death.

With the mention of another Milligan family member, soap watchers may be reminiscing about past character Nicky and wondering where actor Lewis is months after his soap exit, reports Leeds Live.

It appears the actor has been enjoying some time off with getaways to Cyprus and Greece, as well as spending quality time with his long-term girlfriend, Rachel Lopez.

It comes after actor Lewis left presenter Lorraine Kelly stunned when he revealed he is one of 14 siblings. Lewis then revealed that his brothers all got into boxing, with some even becoming professional boxers, but he decided to act instead.

He said: "My mum was really brilliant when we were younger and would take us all to different classes, whether that be boxing, rugby, football, whatever!"

Lewis also opened up about his link to David Beckham after working together in an advertising campaign for David’s fragrance Bold Instinct.
