Emmerdale's John Sugden true colours revealed as he vows revenge on villagers

Emmerdale newbie John Sugden’s true colours are about to be revealed - and it’s bad news for Aaron Dingle.

The new Sugden, played by Oliver Farnworth, made his bombshell debut earlier this week - and he certainly made an impression.

In the instalment, while on the way to meet a ‘hook up’, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) was flagged down by the mysterious newcomer John Sugden after his van had broken down.

The pair ended up recognising each other from the dating app and things took a cheeky turn. Once finished with their roadside romp, Aaron attempted to get to know John better but he was distant.

But while Aaron went to the toilet outside, John ended up robbing Aaron, driving off and leaving him in the countryside without his keys or wallet.

It was then revealed that John is actually Victoria Sugden’s (Isabel Hodgins) half-brother, as well as the half-brother of Aaron’s ex-Robert (Ryan Hawley).

Later on, John arrived in the famous village to try and get his van fixed. Once Aaron realised who he was, he was left fuming and confronted him - only for the pair to fight, before John issued a stern warning to Aaron.

And spoilers for next week, reveal that things are set to take a dramatic turn. In Monday’s episode (August 12) John’s fuming to realise that his van’s been stolen from the garage and has a good idea who’s to blame.

Aaron’s worried when it becomes clear that Mack’s responsible for the stolen van and menacing John loses his cool when he spots his van in a lake.

John vows revenge but Aaron and Mack are left feeling guilty when Victoria reveals the van was his home. Soon, John makes Aaron think he's interested.
