Emmerdale's Jessie Elland branded 'incredible' by co-star as she announces post-soap career move

Former Emmerdale star Jessie Elland has been branded 'incredible' by her ex-co-star as she revealed her first move since leaving the Dales. The actress' last scenes in the ITV soap were aired on Boxing Day after her character Chloe Harris fled with her son Reuben following the death of her dad, Damon 'Harry' Harris.

It concluded Chloe's long-running love triangle storyline with Mackenzie Boyd, the father of her son, and his wife Charity Dingle. After getting in touch with her dad, Harry decided to exact his revenge on Mack which Chloe played along with while secretly trying to free her former partner.

However, her attempts failed and intimidated by her dad, she demanded Mack sign over his parental rights to their son. But it wasn't long until Harry was waving a gun in Mack's direction, planning to finish the job. Chloe had initially stood in harm's way but Charity soon arrived and swooped in.

With the gun then pointing at Charity, Mack tried to stop Harry but soon, a battle for the weapon broke out and when a gun shot rang out, it was either Charity or Harry who had been shot with it soon revealed to be the latter.

Since Charity shot Harry dead in their scuffle, Chloe has left the village with her and Mack's son and Charity has been secretly struggling with the fact she took someone's life.

But away from Emmerdale, and now months on from her on-screen exit, Jessie has revealed her next big move. The former soap star has put pen to paper and alongside filming for the Yorkshire-based soap, she wrote a book.
