Emmerdale's Charity Dingle to face past amid killer guilt with 'unusual' support as actress 'gutted'

Emmerdale's Charity Dingle is set to delve into the trauma of her past in a new post-traumatic stress disorder storyline amidst the guilt of killing Harry. Over Christmas, viewers were shocked to see the much-loved character accidentally turn killer as she rushed to save her husband Mackenzie Boyd.

Mack was kidnapped by Harry, also known as Damon, before beating him black and blue in an abandoned warehouse with plans to finish him off for good following his doomed relationship with his daughter, Chloe Harris. Mack, played by Lawrence Robb, recently ended his relationship with Chloe to reunite with wife Charity, played by Emma Atkins, after he saved her when the trio were involved in a horror car crash back in October.

Meanwhile, Chloe was heartbroken and has since tried to escape the village. Her plan was rumbled and in recent scenes, viewers have seen the mum-of-one pushed to reach out to her dad before she saw what he was really capable of.
