Emmerdale's Amy Wyatt star says she 'likes balance' as she's praised for 'sweaty makeup-free' appearance

Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson has been flooded with compliments and praise as she shared a 'sweaty makeup-free' selfie to social media as she revealed her aim. The actress spoke about how she wanted to 'get better' at sharing on social media with many fans of the soap often wanting to see real-life updates from the cast members.

Natalie joined the ITV soap back in 2019 when she took over the role of Amy Wyatt, who was previously played by Chelsea Halfpenny from 2010 to 2013.

At the time, she was found by her mum Kerry Wyatt and Jessie Dingle in Belfast, fighting off a man. Kerry initially thought she was a prostitute, but a horrified Amy denied it, and said she worked at a women's shelter, and the man she fought off was one of the women's husbands.

When Kerry informed her that her son, Kyle, was living with Cain, Amy was horrified, but when Kerry begged her to come back to the village, she said she couldn't and ran away. However, the next day, she left Ireland and secretly returned to Emmerdale and the rest, as they say, is history.

But back to Natalie's latest social media post and sharing a selfie in which she could be seen resting back on the sofa before creating a peace sign for the camera with her fingers, the soap star said: "Will this sweaty make up free unposed pic be the one to take me past 50k? I set my self the goal recently to post more on my socials - because for all the negativity that can surround them I do think these places can be fun and uplifting and spaces for positivity!
