Emmerdale fans slam Gus as they say same thing over problem with police threat

Emmerdale fans were left fuming at Gus after he threatened Rhona over baby Ivy. As viewers of the ITV soap know, Gus used the embryos frozen by him and ex-wife Rhona years ago to start a family with his now-wife Lucy, despite Rhona saying he couldn't.

But during one last return to the village earlier this year, where he ended up helping Rhona's mum Mary after she was left bleeding by con woman Faye, fans spotted Gus lingered before leaving the family's home and it has since been revealed that he had stolen Rhona's passport to be able to get access to the embryos they had stored together all those years ago.

It was her new husband Marlon Dingle who was the first to discover the truth as he left his hospital appointment, where he got discharged after suffering a stroke last year. And after initially keeping quiet, he eventually told Rhona the truth that Lucy was now pregnant before confronting the fleeing couple.

As she spoke to Gus and Lucy on their doorstep, Lucy went into labour early and tragically, she later died during childbirth. Gus was quick to blame Rhona for causing Lucy stress by turning up at their home but unbeknownst to Gus, Rhona has been paying visits to baby Ivy.
