I'm A Celebrity's Sam Thompson says he's 'overwhelmed' as he leaves fans 'obsessed' with emotional message

Sam Thompson has told fans he's 'overwhelmed' as he shared an emotional message just over a week after winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The former Made In Chelsea star was crowned King of the Jungle as this year's run of the ITV reality show came to an end.

After three weeks in the jungle, where he formed some special romances with the likes of JLS star Marvin Humes and retired boxer Tony Bellew and took on various Bushtucker trials and challenges, Sam emerged victorious after making it to the final three with Tony and Nigel Farage.

After his win, announced by presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, former Made In Chelsea star Sam leapt into the arms of 41-year-old Tony before saying: "I am so grateful, thank you so much, I’ve dreamt of doing this show for years and years and you made this boy’s dream come true."

Over a week on and Sam has taken to social media with a video compliation of some highlights from his time in the jungle this year. "Well….It’s been a week since I got back to the UK, and honestly my feet haven’t touched the ground… because I have literally been walking on air," he typed to his 2.4 million followers with a crying laughing emoji.

The radio and podcast host went on: "I have never been so overwhelmed and grateful, and I thought id share this video of the journey. I will look back on this video forever to remind myself of the fact that I did the coolest thing in the world and how lucky I am. Bring on Christmas, and already so excited for the new year!! Thank you @tedlowney for this."
