Emmerdale fans 'rumble' Jai Sharma's secret plan - and one villager will be furious

Emmerdale fans have been left fuming after Jai Sharma (played by Chris Bisson) was revealed to go into business with Caleb Milligan (William Ash) as he snubbed Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) in their bitter divorce battle.

Following Jai and Laurel's recent separation, the pair have been constantly bickering as they are forced to work together. But during Tuesday's trip to the village (August 20), Jai was gobsmacked when Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) revealed she'd be going into business with Laurel after Jai sells his shares of The Hop.

But after Gabby confirmed the money for the shares would be transferred over to Jai, he was seen making a sneaky phone to an unknown person - who now turns out to be Caleb.

During Wednesday's episode (August 21), Jai's behaviour became more sly when he lied during his mediation meeting with his estranged wife Laurel.

As the former couple spoke about finances, Jai said he was "skint" despite earning money from the shares Laurel had bought.

Jai has also demanded a portion of Laurel's house as their divorce takes a nasty turn.

Later in the episode, Jai visited Caleb - who is on a mission to form a new business that will rival Kim Tate's (Claire King) Home Farm, and the pair secretly sealed their business deal.

"I'm happy with the warehouse investment", Jai confirmed to Caleb, "I need to know where the money is going even if the courts don't."

Caleb then reassured their deal was above board before later telling him: "Keep acting broke."

After Jai revealed where he is hiding his money from Laurel, Emmerdale fans flooded social media warning Caleb would betray him and Laurel would find out.
