Emmerdale double exit as fans 'work out' Amelia Spencer's fate after Tom's next move exposed

Emmerdale viewers have expressed their worries for Daisy Campbell's character, Amelia Spencer, who appears to be falling for Tom King's (James Chase) deceit.

Tom and Amelia's relationship rapidly developed following his separation from Belle Dingle, a character brought to life by Eden Taylor-Draper. Tom has been manipulating Belle for months, culminating in her stabbing him in the back with an axe in recent scenes.

Belle subsequently turned herself into the police, revealing Tom's abusive behaviour. However, Tom attempted to convince everyone that it was all a figment of Belle's imagination.

The plot thickened when Tom sent Belle a bouquet of roses after the death of her father, Zak, played by Steve Halliwell. Despite police warnings to avoid him, Belle retaliated once more.

Tom seemed to regain control as he managed to get Belle arrested, although she was later released. With her mental health deteriorating, Belle voluntarily admits herself into a secure mental health unit.

In the closing scenes of the latest episode, Tom's aunt Nicola, played by Nicola Wheeler, seems to be catching on to his actions. Could she be the one to expose him finally?

Since the storyline began, fans have been speculating about potential outcomes, with many fearing that Amelia's situation could worsen.

In a scene at the pub, Amelia unwittingly shared gossip about Belle, saying "Belle had lost the plot". Jimmy King (Nick Miles) responded to her with: "It's been what you've been saying all along that she is mentally unstable, this confirms it," and added: "This is the turn of the tide, Tom. Things are finally going your way."

Spectators of the saga have taken to a dedicated Facebook fan page to speculate on the unfolding drama. One follower
