Eminem makes an interesting proposition to Detroit Lions players on Hard Knocks

Rapper Eminem is set to appear on an upcoming episode of Hard Knocks, and has given the Detroit Lions an interesting offer.

If you are of a certain age, you don’t need me to tell you just how big a deal Marshall Mathers is in the music industry, but for those of you who might not be up to speed on his particular genre in the music world, let’s see if we can get you up to speed.

With over 220 million records sold worldwide, 15 Grammy awards and countless others for his work in the rap industry, he goes down as one of the most influential and successful musicians of the late 20th century and early 21st century. He even won an Academy Award for Best Original Song in the form of ‘Lose Yourself’ from the 2002 film 8 Mile.

But at the end of the day, like many of us, he’s still a sports fan and having grown up in Detroit for a large part of his childhood, he is arguably the biggest and most notable fan that the Detroit Lions currently have, and are likely to ever have. 

And he is never going to pass up the opportunity to hang with the team whenever he gets the chance.

The Detroit Lions are currently featuring on the current season of Hard Knocks, a behind-the-scenes look at what life is like during NFL preseason and training camp as teams get ready for the season ahead, and sometimes it allows the viewers a glimpse into the odd and perhaps quirky moments that go on when normal cameras aren’t around:
