Emily Atack admits new BBC documentary is 'scariest thing she's ever done' as she unmasks personal trauma

Emily Atack has unveiled her latest TV project where she will give fans an insight into some of her toughest personal experiences. The 32-year-old comedian made an announcement to her 1.8 million Instagram followers that she is making a new documentary that will air on the BBC.

The TV personality, who first found fame after playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, said that the programme will explore her 'own lived experiences' of sexual harassment and sexual harassment online.

The former I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestant, who came second place in the show and went on to present the spin-off series Extra Camp, admitted the new documentary is the 'scariest thing she has ever done'.

Emily previously featured as a team captain on Celebrity Juice and also presented her own series called The Emily Atack Show which featured a mix of stand up comedy, impressions, and stories about her life experiences including dating, relationships and the pressures of social media and fame.

This is not the first documentary the star has done, as has also explored turning 30 years old and issues affecting women her age in a show called Emily Atack: Adulting.

In a post on Instagram, the TV personality announced: "Hi all! The news is out that I am making a documentary for the BBC about my own lived experiences of sexual harassment and sexual harassment online.
