Emil Krafth World Cup hopes over as Newcastle United teammate ends international break on a high

That same enjoyment that the United newbie enjoyed couldn’t be reciprocated elsewhere amongst his club team mates though as Emil Krafth’s World Cup dream came to an end. Sweden fell at the final hurdle in their quest to make it to Qatar as they were beaten 2-0 away from home by Poland who booked their place in the finals at the end of the year with victory.

Paraguay’s qualifying campaign also came to an end overnight and they too won’t be at the World Cup after finishing eighth out of the 10 South American teams.
