Emergency repairs cause M4 delays - live updates

Emergency repairs are causing some M4 delays on Friday afternoon (March 8). One lane is closed westbound at junction 45 Ynysforgan, near Swansea. Congestion is back to junction 43 with delays of 20 minutes.

Traffic Wales says: "Westbound : J43 Llandarcy to J44 Lon Las : Congestion : Due to Emergency works : Lane closed : Delays possible." Traffic cameras from the area show heavy congestion on the westbound carriageway.
