Elden Ring Pre-Load: When is it Available?

Elden Ring is set to be officially released at the end of the month but some have been wondering how to pre-load the game before release it is available for retail sale?

The game is the next release from the team behind the massively successful team behind Dark Souls, FromSoftware.

Many fans of the game have been waiting some time for the game to finally come to Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. With pre-loading now being a viable option for gamers across the board, the chance to do so with the massively anticipated title is a welcome bonus for players who want to hit the ground running on day one.

Elden Ring is currently available to pre-load on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, with the Microsoft consoles getting ahead of the curve by offering pre-load earlier than PC and PlayStation.

Players with Xbox consoles will be able to download the entire game ahead of release, meaning that they can play as quickly as possible when the title is finally released officially on Friday 25th February 2022.

The game itself is 49.04GB in size, so players will need to have a decent amount of free space on their consoles, but not as much as some other major AAA titles.
