EKYM landed winger Sean Winter after snapping up Barry Russell, admits boss

East Kilbride YM boss Graeme Robertson admits recent recruit Barry Russell helped the team land new signing Sean Winter.

Defender Russell and winger Winter are good friends and have played alongside each other at Stranraer in the SPFL, East Kilbride FC in the Lowland League, as well as St Roch’s and East Kilbride Thistle in the West of Scotland League.

”His connection with Sean and being good friends with him helped us bring Sean in as well.

”It’s two good players to bring in at this stage of the season.

”We’ve got a really strong squad and I’m sure once Sean gets up to speed – because he hasn’t played for a wee while – he will be a great addition to our squad. A
