Eight vegan Easter treats you can still order - including M&S gift bag

With Easter bank holiday just around the corner, supermarkets are packed with chocolate treats in shiny foil. And this year, there's been an increase in the number of vegan and free-from products hitting the shelves too.

Wellness brand FreeSoul reported that the popularity of veganism has been steadily growing in the UK since the turn of the millennium, and with over 500,000 people signing up to take part in Veganuary in 2022.

An ever-growing number of vegan food alternatives has accompanied the rise of veganism, which also makes more options available for people with dairy allergies.

This Easter, brands have pulled out all the stops with their vegan goodies, with M&S launching a £40 vegan gift bag, and Hotel Chocolat offering an Ostrich Easter egg for a cool £85.

But there are some more affordable options too, like the Hip salted caramel oat milk Easter egg for £8, and one from NOMO - which we reviewed last month - for £6.
