Edinburgh Monarchs gear up for season finale as they take on Poole Pirates

The Edinburgh Stellar Monarchs are aiming to end a disappointing year on a high as they take to the shale for the final time this term on Friday.

The Monarchs have endured a challenging campaign but were still able to squeeze into the SGB Championship play-offs.

However, that didn’t go to plan as they suffered a pair of heavy defeats to the Scunthorpe Scorpions that ensured they had no chance of advancing from their group.

That means Friday’s clash at home to the Poole Pirates will be the final action at Armadale Stadium for the Monarchs this season as they look to rebuild over the winter.

The action gets underway at the usual time of 7.30pm with ticket and live stream information available from the club’s website at www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk.
