Ebbsfleet United manager Josh Wright says referee Zachary Cunningham admits he made an error in allowing Bath City’s goal to stand in National League South draw

Ebbsfleet boss Josh Wright claimed referee Zachary Cunningham admitted he made an error in allowing Bath’s goal to stand on Monday.

The visitors opened the scoring in controversial circumstances at Stonebridge Road before the Fleet rescued a late point through Dominic Samuel.

But Wright stated that the official knew he’d made a mistake after Scott Wilson’s 11th-minute strike following a quick free-kick.

“I wasn't happy with our first half performance,” added the Fleet boss. “Credit to Bath, you have to give credit to the opposition when you come up against a side who cause you some problems.

“They pressed and they ran hard. They looked the team to me, more so first half, that looked a full-time team and that disappoints me because I freshened it up.

“I made the changes the other day and I’ve put boys back in today. We didn't look like we had that spark. We didn't get going and we
