ITV This Morning viewers spot Phillip Schofield 'fuming' minutes before the end of the show

This Morning viewers say Phillip Schofield was 'fuming' as he wrapped up his latest appearance on the show. The presenter was back as usual at the helm of the ITV daytime programme alongside Holly Willoughby.

As ever the show featured a mix of segments and guests - from a chat with DJ Fat Tony about his exploits with global superstars and becoming a lockdown internet sensation to Phil Vickery serving up a Mexican feast in the kitchen.

However, the hosts' competitive nature was once again brought on-screen with another game of Guess the Gadget. Holly sailed to victory last time with a 3-1 win and so Steve Wilson dusted off his conveyor belt, ready for another game with Phillip 'foolishly', according to Holly, wanting a re-match in a bid to get one over on his co-star.

"Things have got a bit tense here," Phillip laughed after the show returned from a break. As Holly poked her head into Phillip's camera view, he remarked: "She can't stand it when she's out of shot." As the cameras then switched to show Holly, the TV star said with a cheeky smile: "That's so much better!"

Referring to the re-match, Holly said of her co-star: "I don't think he said that. I think he'd prefer if we never played this game ever again," as Phillip laughed. "But the question is, can he take my crown?" Exasperated, Phillip said: "It's time to find out..."

However, that didn't quite go to plan. As they got stuck into the game towards the end of Wednesday's show (June 8) the 60-year-old appeared the suggest that 41-year-old Holly was cheating as she correctly guessed one of the items as a golf ball dispenser as well as another as a pasta
