EA FC 24 Celtic ratings revealed as Callum McGregor takes top spot in Scotland but Hatate runs him close

Celtic skipper Callum McGregor has been rated the best Premiership player in EA Sports FC 24 - but not by a distance as teammate Reo Hatate runs him close.

EA are going out on their own after a longstanding licensing agreement with FIFA came to an end and the first instalment of their new EA FC series promises much from the early hype videos. It doesn't release until the end of the month but various early access versions are overheating consoles all over the world already and popular site FUTScore have got hold of the ratings as they will be when the game comes out fully on September 29.

It's no surprise for Celtic fans to see Mr Consistent Callum McGregor to come in as their top rated player after his starring role in last season's Treble and he's rated at 79 - higher than any other player in Scotland. His teammate Hatate though and Rangers skipper James Tavernier run him close with 78 ratings.

A few of Celtic's new signings are yet to be available with Luis Palma not yet an active player in the game. But Paulo Bernardo comes in at a humble 67...a rating that will surely skyrocket with updates if he hits the ground running.

Nat Phillips, fresh off his move from Liverpool, is the best of their new signings at 73 while top scorer Kyogo might feel a bit miffed he's only coming in at 77.
