Dundee team bus suffers unfortunate malfunction as Hibs fightback party spoiled on route back from Easter Road

Tony Docherty and his Dundee squad may be stuck in Edinburgh tonight for a bit longer than planned after footage emerged of their team bus getting towed away outside Easter Road following their 2-2 draw with Hibs.

The Dens Park side had continued their decent start to the campaign by claiming a point courtesy of Simon Murray's 88th minute equaliser. The Dark Blues had taken an early lead thanks to Scott Tiffoney only for the Hibees to take the lead through goals from Martin Boyle and Kieron Bowie.

Dundee have won one and drew two of their first three league matches and have also set up a Premier Sports Cup quarter final with Rangers after smashing Airdrieonians 6-1 in the second round last weekend. But Docherty's men may be stuck in Leith for a little longer tonight after a video circulated around social media of the bus getting towed away by a truck outside the Hibees Stadium.

The Tayside club will hope to build on the draw when they welcome St Mirren to Dens Park next Saturday. Follow Record Sport on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all of the up-to-the minute breaking news, video and audio on the SPFL, the Scotland national team and beyond.
