'Don't deserve top four!' - Manchester United fans say the same thing after Watford draw

Manchester United failed to tighten their grip on fourth place after being forced to settle for a 0-0 draw with Watford at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Just as they did against Burnley and Southampton earlier this month, United dominated the first half and had a glut of chances to put daylight between themselves and the Hornets.

However, they failed to make the most of the opportunities that came their way, meaning they failed to move four points clear of fifth-placed Arsenal, who are not in action this weekend.

United had chances in the second half, but they were not as clear-cut as those in the first 45 minutes, with their play becoming a tad desperate and disorganised.

Although United remain in fourth place, Arsenal have three games in hand on them now and find themselves just two points behind them in the table, meaning they will fancy their chances of making the most of their advantage.

Although all is not yet lost, United's supporters, following this afternoon's result, believe their top-four aspirations are as good as over.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what they have had to say.

As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, United's supporters have expressed their fear at possibly missing out on the top four this term, with Arsenal now in a prime position to seize on their latest setback.

The Gunners, of course, have to win their three games in hand to make the advantage count, but it will be an uncomfortable position for United to be in, with the scenario now out of their control.
