Manchester United stars all say the same thing about Cristiano Ronaldo display vs Spurs

Manchester United stars have all been saying the same thing after Cristiano Ronaldo's match-winning exploits against Tottenham Hotspur.

His hat-trick helped United move back into the Champions League places. Not only that, it saw the 37-year-old become the highest FIFA recognised men's goalscorer of all time.

It was a much-needed boost for United after a torrid week following their disappointing display against cross-city rivals Manchester City. For Ronaldo, he announced his return to the starting line-up in emphatic fashion after missing the Etihad defeat through injury.

Here is how the United players reacted to an eventful Saturday.

The social media activity didn't stop there as a number of players took to their Instagram stories to offer their congrats to the record-breaking attacker. Ronaldo added a story that read: "Thank you Old Trafford."

Bruno Fernandes, who was absent through illness, was active on social media throughout the win over Antonio Conte's side. Firstly aiming at VAR before filming the replay of the winning header with a CR7 GIF. Fred posted the original post to his story where he wrote: "Much needed."

For Jesse Lingard, it was as simple as three goat emojis, with Marcus Rashford following suit with a single emoji on his story.
