Does CrossfireX Have a Campaign?

CrossfireX has created a stir since its launch across Europe and North America in February and many have been questioned whether the first-person shooter includes a campaign.

The legendary PC gaming series finally made its way to consoles due to the sheer demand from its vast fanbase, with the first game having been initially released in Korea back in 2007 and Europe in 2011.

A campaign had never been introduced to the series previously, with Smilegate Entertainment, the original developers, emphasising multiplayer that comes with various game modes.

While a lot of the foundations have been brought across from Crossfire, some players want more with CrossfireX, including a single-player campaign.

The great news for players that love a good story is that, yes, CrossfireX does have a campaign mode that you can stick your teeth into. However, Smilegate have left the responsibility of this to the Scandanavian gaming giants Remedy.

Responsible for the Alan Wake and Max Payne series, as well as Control, Remedy have taken sole developmental control of the campaign, while Smilegate continued to focus on the multiplayer component.
