Disney+ show's latest season gets perfect Rotten Tomatoes score

A new season of a critically-acclaimed Disney+ show has received a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef who returns home to Chicago following a death in the family. There, he helps to run his family's sandwich shop, The Original Beef of Chicagoland.

The critically acclaimed series also racked up numerous awards in its first season, including being honored as an AFI TV Program of the Year, as well as a WGA Award, PGA Award and Film Independent Spirit Award. Jeremy Allen White also won the comedy acting award from the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and Critics Choice Awards.

And it seems there's no slowing down for season two, which has already racked up a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. One critic wrote: "With such a talented cast, it’s not that surprising that Season 2 lets it rip once again," while another added: "A sophomore slump is not on the menu."

Season two follows Carmy, as well as Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they work to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot. As they strip the restaurant down to its bones, the crew undertakes transformational journeys of their own, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.
