Diego Carlos, Kamara, Coutinho all start - Aston Villa predicted XI vs Leeds United

Aston Villa’s tour of Australia will officially get underway tomorrow (Sunday, 5.35am UK-time) at the Suncorp Stadium against Leeds United. Brisbane’s already packed with both sets of supporters while, for Villa, it’ll be the first time in the club’s 148-year history playing Down Under.

Head coach Steven Gerrard has planned yet another gruelling double session today (Saturday) ahead of kick-off tomorrow and, here, runs through the options the manager has while knowing two different XIs will take to the pitch across both halves.

From back to front and, with Emi Martinez and Robin Olsen both missing last weekend’s 4-0 win over Walsall, both are fully expected to feature tomorrow. The pair have continued to be supported by youngsters Filip Marschall and Polish under-18 stopper Oliwier Zych on the Gold Coast.

Across the back four and Frederic Guilbert will be desperate to impress having missed the Walsall win with a slight injury.
