The celebrations of Chelsea lifting the FIFA Club World Cup continues as the Blues defeated Palmeiras in extra time.
Champions League hero Kai Havertz was yet again showered with immense praise for his efforts and the German's penalty in the 117th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.
One player who seems to have not received enough credit for his performance was club-record signing Romelu Lukaku, who gave the Londoners the lead in the 54th minute after the Belgium international converted Callum Hudson Odoi's superb cross from the left flank.
Generally speaking, it certainly hasn't been the return to Chelsea Lukaku would have envisaged.
A combination of poor displays on the pitch along with off the ball matters has so far left the Chelsea fan base rather frustrated with Lukaku.
But club legend Didier Drogba believes that yesterday's goal could be a 'turning point' for the former Inter Milan striker and insists that Lukaku just needs to believe in himself more.
“I’m even more happy because of all he has been through the last few weeks,” Drogba said.
“He is responding well. The best way to answer is to score goals and to win trophies. That’s what he did.
