Diaz, Adesanya, Pimblett, Jones next fights: UFC accidentally leak upcoming schedule

Some tasty fights appear to be scheduled for the UFC this summer after a board was inadvertently leaked during a Dana White podcast appearance.

Dana White appeared on the “Pivot Podcast” for an interview hosted by Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark.

However, the beginning of the stream for the podcast revealed the apparent schedule for UFC for the coming months in the background.

The “war room” board is often referred to in interviews by White but has never actually been visible to fans.

The board has revealed Boston, Chicago, Salt Lake City and Dallas as possible city options.

Jon Jones returns

One of those scheduled matches is the eagerly awaited return of Jon Jones.

The former light-heavyweight champion hasn’t fought in the Octagon since February 2020, when he defeated Dominic Reyes.

Recent reports indicated that Jones wanted to make his heavyweight debut against Stipe Miocic, arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time.

Miocic has said he would not be ready until September, and Jones has said he is willing to wait as he wants the fighter at his best.

However, the leaked matches have the bout scheduled for UFC 277 on July 30 of this year.

It will be interesting to see if the bout is indeed confirmed for July or delayed until September.

Here is a look at some of the other leaked bouts

Israel Adesanya vs. Jared Cannonier (UFC 276, July 2, 2022)

Cannonier defeated Brunson in February in an unofficial number one contender match and this potential fight already makes sense given the current landscape of the middleweight division.

Paddy Pimblett vs. Ottman Azaitar (UFC London, July 23, 2022)

Pimblett already appeared on the last UFC London card in March, defeating Kazula Vargas by submission.
