Devin Haney putting a young fan through his paces at the open workout is incredibly wholesome

Devin Haney made a young fan’s dream come true last night after visiting the Koori Boxing Club in Melbourne earlier this week.

Haney, 23, will fight unified lightweight world champion George Kambosos Jr in his own backyard of Australia on Saturday night.

The two go head-to-head in a monumental undisputed lightweight bout at Marvel Stadium with Kambosos’ WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO world titles on the line in addition to Haney’s WBC belt.

It’s the 23-year-old’s first bout since he fought Joseph Diaz Jr in December 2021.

“You have Billy Giles, the former coach of Hector Camacho. There are a lot of guys that don’t know that we’ve been working with him [Giles] since Devin when he was young.

“I take a mad traditional approach and I let a village, or a fraternity full of hall of fame coaches, teach us the game.

“Yoel Judah, we’ve had nothing but respect for him. He’s the perfect
