'Devastated' Greater Manchester mum writes to Ann Summers after vibrator of 14 years broke

A mum was so 'devastated' when her faithful vibrator of 14 years broke that she wrote to Ann Summers to thank them, stating the £50 sex toy was 'better than any bloke'.

Amy Pritchard hosted an Ann Summers party over a decade ago where she purchased a top-of-the-range pink vibrator that proved itself to be 'fantastic' value for money.

The 35-year-old claims that her 'old faithful companion' has seen her through 'thick and thin and times of need" which included a failed marriage, four house moves and bringing up three children.

So when her 'bestie' eventually broke, the personal assistant messaged Ann Summers on social media to share her appreciation for her beloved toy after having a giggle with some girlfriends in the pub.

She praised the sex toy for often being better than men as it 'doesn't chat back and sometimes does a BETTER JOB'.

An Ann Summers rep responded to Amy by informing her of the company's updated Rampant Rabbit range.

But she is yet to splash the cash on a new companion.

Amy, from Littleborough, Greater Manchester, said: "It's seen me through some important milestones - a failed marriage, four house moves and three kids.

"It's been there for me when I've needed it.

"The vibration part of it had broken quite a bit before but the top part of it completely fell off. I got it out of my drawer and was just like 'oh my God'. I was devastated.

"We were having a laugh in the pub and I was like 'you know what it's better than the money I've spent on any fella', that was the humour behind it.
