Desperate plea for help to find girl, 14, missing for five days

An urgent appeal had been issued to find a missing 14-year-old girl. Katie Parkes has been missing since Wednesday, August 14, and is believed to be in the Runcorn area.

Katie is described as white, is approximately 4' 9" tall, of slim build, and has long dark brown hair. Inspector Steve Bradshaw said: "It has now been four days since Katie was last seen, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

"As well as Runcorn, Katie is known to have links to the Merseyside and Birmingham areas. I'd urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen Katie since she went missing, or knows where she is, to get in touch.

"The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of her since she disappeared. I would also like to appeal directly to Katie, to ask her to get in touch.”
