Derek Chisora: I'll stop Kubrat Pulev at the O2 in front of my home fans
Derek Chisora is confident he will stop former world title challenger Kubrat Pulev.
The 38-year-old is coming off two straight losses against Joseph Parker. Before that, he was beaten via unanimous decision by Oleksandr Usyk.
Chisora's last win came via TKO against fellow Brit David Price in October 2019 on the Josh Taylor vs Regis Prograis undercard.
'War' Chisora's fights have been more entertaining in recent years and he does not intend to retire anytime soon.
Pulev, meanwhile, is aged 41 and he is 31 fights into his professional career. He was previously stopped in world title fights versus Wladimir Klitschko (2014) and Anthony Joshua (2020).
'The Cobra' beat Chisora via split decision when they fought the first time around in Germany in 2016.
Pulev was quick to step in for Kownacki. He and Chisora headline a Matchroom Boxing card on DAZN this weekend at the O2 Arena in London.
Felix Cash, Caoimhin Agyarko and Ramla Ali feature on the undercard.
Ahead of fight night, Chisora revealed he is planning to knockout Pulev.
"When they start singing that beautiful song 'Oh Derek Chisora' the game plan goes out the window," Chisora tweeted.
"I will stop Kubrat Pulev at the O2 in front of my home fans. You're going to love it."
The fans choosing to spend their hard earned money watching me fight brings me so much joy. I feel the love, it's unbelievable. On Saturday I'll give it my all for you
